A CREATIVE SUMMER IN ZAGREB CITY MUSEUM
This hot summer, Zagreb City Museum offers fellow citizens and visitors creative art workshop.
Drawing in the permanent display of Zagreb City Museum
Looking around Zagreb City Museum, a visitor acquires information about the history of our city. Observing, we develop divergent and intellectual thinking and also psychomotor capacities, such as skills in working with the hand. We also develop psychic functions in the members of the workshop – for example, concentration, perception, memory and empathy. Together with the leaders of the creative art workshop you will choose an object that will be the most attractive for the technique in which we shall work. So this summer the museum is organising for its visitors a little course in drawing in the permanent display in five weeks.
The members of the workshop will learn the basic drawing techniques, using graphite pencil, charcoal and chalk. They will learn how to construct a composition, and what perspective is, what shading.
Times for the holding of the workshops: July 17 to August 16, three times a week / Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 5 pm to 6 30 pm.
Each workshop lasts 90 minutes.
The leaders of the workshop are Romana Nikolić, who has a master’s in visual culture education, and Marija Sabolič, museum educator.
The workshop is intended for pupils of elementary and secondary schools, students and adults.
A charge of one entry ticket is made for the workshop, irrespective of the number of times it is attended: schoolchildren, students and retirees 20 kuna, other adults 30 kuna, and a family ticket 50 kuna.
Please do inform the museum educator, Marija Sabolic, about your intended arrival, on tel. 01/4851 362 or by email at email@example.com
